The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC) through its Judicial Education Institute (JEI), hosted its signature event the Annual Judicial Conference for Judges and Masters at Le Sport, the Body Holiday from July 27 – 28, 2017.
The CJEI Intensive study Programme is a three-week training programme for judicial educators of the Commonwealth. This year, the training programme was held from 4th to 23rd June.
The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus, in conjunction with The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Judicial Education Institute (JEI) have partnered in providing continued 5–day mediation training workshops in the OECS states and territories.
Twenty six mediators representing the 6 independent states and 3 dependent territories of the OECS received training in family mediation during the week of 3rd to 7th April 2017.
